The island has both land and water rooms. The water rooms are called water villas and water villa suites are these are five star standard. The land rooms are four star standard. Chaaya Hotel Dhonveli is not far from the airport in north Male atoll and transfers are made by traditional ‘Dhoni’ – the local boat, motorized vessel or speedboat.
